Professor Henri Groult passed away on June 28, 2026, leaving a void in the fluorine community.

He was a renowned scientist who contributed significantly to the international recognition of French fluorine chemistry.

From 2008 to 2016, he served as director of the CNRS GIS "Réseau Français du Fluor" (French Fluorine Network), helping to develop it into the active network it is today.
